Oh I Sure Do Love Me Some Playoffs!

   Good evening, citizens of Earth!

   In my humble opinion there is nothing quite like (good) football on Saturday. Because I did not go to a big football school, and therefore do not have the alma mater pride clouding my perception of things, I have to compare college football straight up to the NFL, which renders the former largely amateur hour. That being said, it is not until January, typically, that there is at least one good football game being played on Saturday. And today, there were two! The freaking Redskins basically pissed away a victory to what I consider a mediocre Seahawks team. The AFC is without a doubt the more competitive conference, as it has been for many years now, and the Jags-Steelers game did not disappoint! Down to the wire it went - good stuff, for sure! At least the Washington-Seattle game was competitive the whole way through.

   Tomorrow is what I've truly been waiting for. Yes, I'll clench my teeth and watch two teams, (the Giants and the Bucs) that I really have no interest in, go at it, but the best will be saved for last when my beloved Bolts host the Titans in the nightcap.

   And oh, yeah, for all of you keeping score at home, here's one for California (versus Colorado) - GO CHARGERS!!
