Sleep Patterns
As part of my resolutions for this new year I have decided to try to get more sleep at night.
I presently get between 5 and 7 hours typically. For a number of reasons, this past week I have fluctuated wildly, getting 4.5 one night and 9 another.
What I've found is that if I get LESS than 5 hours of sleep I wake up on my own right before my alarm is set to go off where as if I get MORE than 7 hours I am roused from (sometimes deep) sleep by my alarm. And I don't know about you but the way I feel when I first get up in the morning often translates into how I am going to feel all day - alert or out of it..
I am going to keep analyzing this as my productivity, in turn, seems to correlate to my mood as well.
