Nuclear Power Needs To Be Revisited

   If it is something you celebrate, happy Cinco de Mayo!

   Whilst imbibing cerveza ponder this...I truly believe any talk of liberating our country from the chains of oil dependence need to consider nuclear power's role if we are to be realistic.

   Solar, wind, geothermal, and biofuels are all great and have a role to play in the overall strategy but nuclear is the only option that stands a snowball's chance in hell of producing enough energy (in this case electricity) to change things on a large scale.

   More to come on this but try to open your mind. Today's nuclear power is not Three Mile Island or Chernobyl. It produces very little waste and does nothing to contribute to air pollution especially when compared to the power it can produce.
